About Matt

Matt Morrison is an itinerant Christian speaker and currently teaches at Refuge, a weekly collegiate gathering at Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, AR. Born and raised in the suburbs of Dallas, he had the privilege of growing up in a Christian home with parents who loved the Lord. At a young age, he accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and quickly got involved in his local church. It was there that he grew to love ministry.

On February 1, 2003, Matt felt the call into church leadership and soon discovered his passion for teaching. This led him to attend college at Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, AR. As a student at Ouachita, Matt has had the privilege of serving through several internship positions in local churches and as an interim youth minister. He also served as the publicity chair for Tiger Serve Day, one of the largest community service projects in the state of Arkansas. While involved in classes and ministry, Matt also had the privilege of meeting his wife to be, Holly Crouch. Currently, he is completing his senior year and plans to marry his college sweetheart on May 23, 2009.

Matt seeks to communicate God's truth with strong Biblical foundations and relevant application. While only in the early stages of his teaching ministry, he is excited to see what God has in store. For more information on Matt and his ministry, continue browsing the website.
